The Gotthard Service Area is located in the centre of Switzerland, along the A2 motorway between Basle and Chiasso. Our services are only a few kilometres away from Lake Lucerne, the loveliest of all Swiss lakes. And no more than some 20 km distance from the northern entrance to the famous, 17 km-long Gotthard tunnel.
Thanks to our modern facilities, the Gotthard Service Area has become a popular stopover for travel groups. Over 50 parking spaces are available for large coaches.

Chapel
A chapel is situated on the premises of the Gotthard Service Area, providing travellers with a place of reflection and tranquillity. This is the only such chapel in Switzerland, and is in keeping with the tradition of the roadside chapels along the old Gotthard route. |
